Memorial Trap Shoot
Our annual Memorial Trap Shoot is on Saturday June 8th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This a big fundraiser not only for our club, but also the Ozaukee Food Alliance. Last year’s event helped raise over $10,000 for the Ozaukee Food Alliance. This event is available to the public, so please bring all of your family and friends!
If you are a working member or just a member looking for a way to help the club, we are still in need of some volunteers for trap pullers and other helpers. Please see the link below or Contact Joe Bronson for any question.

Membership Renewal Stats
Our membership remains very strong for the 2024-2025 cycle. Less than 10% of our members didn’t renew last year with approximately 10% being our average. We have over 40 new members this year, which is just under half of the number that didn’t renew. We are currently at 909 members with a large pool of applicants interested in joining. We ended our 2023-2024 year with 949 members at our peak.
Conservation Easement
The club is looking into creating a Conservation Easment with a portion of our land. If any members have experience with this, or are attorneys that would be willing to assist & support our club with investigating this, please reach out to us at [email protected].
Action Pistol Updates
Our June IDPA match was our first sell out event with over 60 competitors.
Our June USPSA Match also had the most competitors we’ve had before at a USPSA match with over 40 competitors.
Our Steel Challenge participation also continues to grow and we are now regularly hosting between 40-50 entries.
In the past two weekends for these three events we hosted almost 150 competitors that fired over 20,000 rounds!
For any of our action pistol sports including IDPA, USPSA or Steel Challenge, please sign up using Practiscore. https://practiscore.com/clubs/saukville-rifle-and-pistol-club.
If you are interested in getting started with action pistol, we will have several introductory classes on 6/21, 7/26, 8/23 and 9/27. The registration will also be in Practiscore with the link above with a cost of only $10 per member with guidance from many Expert & Master class competitors and safety officers. Non-members are welcome as well for $20.
Rifle Range Update
Completion is near. We appreciate everyone’s patience with this project as it is taking a little longer than we hoped.
The range berms are now nearly complete and topsoil spreading is nearly complete.
We have contracted to have the new range seeded & we will be able to build a covering like we had on the old range. The benches have been built and will be placed as soon as we are able.
We also have purchased a small shed to store cardboard in for the shorter 40 yard bays. That is almost built and will be placed when a pad to place it on is complete.
Improvements were also made to the South enterance road to improve visility, reduce the hill about half way through and also added a few pull offs in the narrow spots.
Please do not speed down the new south road to the new range or of course on Blue Goose Road. We need to be respectful of our neighbors. We’ve had a few complaints again of people driving recklessly down our new south enterance road to the new range.
Donations to support the New Range Costs
UPDATE: We’ve received just under $15,000 in donations from members to help support the costs of the new range construction. This has gone a long way in helping our club cover the costs of this construction. A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that has contributed!
This move will be costing our club approximately $100,000 to build a new access road, remove trees, build new berms and add other amenities like benches and roof to the new range.
We are asking any members that would be willing to donate to the club to help offset these costs to please do so. We are able to take donations online or from mailing a check.
Donations online can be made by clicking here:

Please note: Donating by mailing a check, especially for any large donations, is preferred due to avoiding processing fees from online payment processors.
Please make out and mail any donation checks to:
Saukville Gun Club
P.O. Box 13
Saukville, WI 53080
Please note the purpose of the check in the memo field or with a note that it is to help with range construction costs.
We sincerely apprecate a donation of any size to assist with large outflow of cash we will have to cover these expenses.
